Banhart Is Back
A skateboarding accident abruptly put an end to Devendra Banhart’s US performances this past March. Now, he is back and ready to get back on stage! Devendra will be bouncing around Europe for the months of June and July. Not to worry, he will also be performing two additional dates this summer for his US fans. First, August 14th at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Second, Devendra and his band the Grogs will also be taking the stage at this year’s Austin City Limits Festival!
The line up has been officially announced and includes headlining performances by The Flaming Lips, The Eagles, Muse, Phish, The Strokes and M.I.A. The three day festival takes place October 8-10th at Zilker Park in Austin, TX — 46 green acres in the heart of downtown Austin. Festival go-ers will have access to 130 plus artists from across the globe, the best of local food/fashion/art, fun for the kids, and the latest in eco-friendly and green happenings.
